I passed up the opportunity to learn Reiki when it was presented to me years ago. Being a typical mother, my family and children came first, I came last. It wasn't until midlife that my life took a turn and I found myself in a state of turmoil. Reiki suddenly reappeared in my life and I immediately charged into this amazing healing modality. Reiki is my life. It is my passion. Reiki has added a new dimension to my 35 year career as a Registered Nurse. In the comfortable and calming atmosphere of my home, I teach others who are interested in exploring Reiki. My journey has been remarkable. Reiki has given me the opportunity to connect with and heal so many wonderful people and animals on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level. I hope that as you read through my website you resonate with the experiences that people have shared. These stories demonstrate how the effect of healing oneself ripples outward towards the healing of others.

Reiki supports healing of the body, mind and spirit. Pronounced Ray-Key, Reiki is an ancient “laying of hands” Japanese healing practice. The word Rei means universal. Ki is a vital life force that flows through everything. Reiki is a universal energy that is life giving. The endless supply of Reiki is the most natural healing system available to reduce stress, promote healing and reduce pain. Animals respond to loving touch and intention. Reiki brings a wonderful emotional healing following trauma, abuse, neglect, fear and trust issues, bringing peace into even the most damaged spirit. Reiki induces deep relaxation and stress-reduction and, over time, reduces the anxiety which creates stress for high-strung or nervous animals. My cat Pumpkin, who has passed, assists me from beyond when I work to heal animals. Fuji, Lizzie's guide dog, could not resist jumping up on the treatment table to receive his share of Reiki.
